I was very happy to hear that Conference would be live streamed (although it would have been nice to hear a few hours before ordination- I didn't have time to email links to my family)srlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08500926098402022657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11397318.post-82729285395377490742011-06-13T19:44:20.480-05:002011-06-13T19:44:20.480-05:00Thanks for your input. I am not sure about other services but would assume they were also available. As far as the content of the services themselves let me say that a tremendous amount of planning and work--months of work--go into creating the services. Not to mention the amount of work that happens during the conference itself. Part of that creative process is to insure that the services represent the diversity in our conference and in our world. So although you may not have known the words perhaps there were some that did. And it is my understanding that Bishop Johnson herself requested the group that played during the Ordination service. If you (and others) are unhappy with the worship, maybe this is an opportunity for you to offer yourself in servanthood to the worship team next year.Heidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11564444456010765654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11397318.post-50797985388196888252010-07-14T06:20:41.575-05:002010-07-14T06:20:41.575-05:00Good to hear from our younger clergy the thoughts ...Good to hear from our younger clergy the thoughts about AC. The bottom line is for our conferences and churches to see them not as time wasters but as tools and then develop intentional strategies in using them.

An by all means- share the blog address as much as you want.Steve and Andrea LaMottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11629466763378726726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11397318.post-29013203673768750722010-06-16T15:00:01.090-05:002010-06-16T15:00:01.090-05:00Good ideas!
